Susan McCadam Hoffman
Susan McCadam Hoffman, M.S., ERYT, YACEP, believes that an artful yoga practice can empower students to reanimate their lives. She began her teacher training in mindful movement techniques with over 200 hours of study in the Pilates Method between 2002-2004. As an equally dedicated yoga practitioner, Susan followed this with a course of study to become a registered yoga teacher and that passionate learning curve has not stopped. In working one-on-one or in small groups with individuals looking to restore fluidity and ease in movement, sessions begin with an assessment of goals. The hour is then tailored using a combination of Breathing Exercises, Yin and Yang Yoga Poses, Restorative Yoga Postures, Thai Yoga Technique, and if there is interest, a brief Guided Mediation Practice. Clients leave with a detailed plan for continued self-care at home. Susan is pleased to be a part of the Apple Core team.
In the early 2000’s, Lynda received a healing session by a reiki master in California that set her on course to learning and understanding more about healing modalities and energy work. She became certified in Reiki I, II, and Mastership levels through the University of Southern Maine, completed both basic and intermediate Therapeutic Touch training sessions and obtained her Holistic Health minor. Earlier in 2019, she acquired her Holy Fire II Karuna Reiki Master certificate, which is proven to be a more powerful form of Reiki. Lynda served as a volunteer in the Reiki Program at Maine Medical Center and was present during the birth of her great niece, administering reiki treatments to both mother and daughter. She approaches each of her clients with love, respect, and compassion, and firmly believes that Reiki can both calm and facilitate healing and well-being.
Lynda is a world-renowned musician and songwriter, originally hailing from Detroit, Michigan. When not nurturing others, Lynda loves to write songs, study art, strength train, travel, and spend time with her husband, friends, and cats.
Emily works therapeutically in myofascial release, range of motion, positional release, and deep tissue. She works slowly with the body, not against it. She is also a self proclaimed artist. Her two passions are painting and wood sculpting. She has found massage therapy to be an art form, as well. She is a huge advocate for sustainability, alternative energy and agriculture. She grew up off the grid as a child for 13 years and has worked on farms for most of her life. She hopes to reach out to people working in the agricultural world and eventually desires to incorporate art into her practice. As an associate polarity practitioner, she chose to go into energy work after the profound impact it had on her life and is working towards becoming an RPP. She realizes that mind and body work together in optimal wellness. Do not be surprised when she sends you away with self care homework to empower you to help heal yourself!
